The Dream You Board of Directors is responsible for overseeing the organization and guiding its strategic direction while furthering our mission of bringing hope and unity to communities.
Board members support our programs and services, focus on community issues with respect and ethical responsibility, oversee finances, and participate in fundraising activities.
David W. Toms, MSW, ASW
Board President
Social Worker / Therapist
David, a social worker and therapist, takes a strength-based approach to empower clients. He helps those struggling with mental health and addiction. He founded Dream You in 2022 to offer free media production to nonprofits and local heroes that cannot afford professional media production. Before becoming a social worker, David worked in film production for 11 years on the East Coast.
Keren H. Wasserman
Secretary
Attorney at Law
As an attorney, Keren Wasserman defends insurance carriers and individuals in third- and first-party claims pertaining to automobile liability, premises liability and other torts. She is a zealous advocate for her clients with a reputation for securing sanctions against opposing counsel for their bad-faith discovery tactics.
Prior to working in the area of general liability, Keren practiced general civil litigation and business transactions for small to medium-size businesses. She also has experience representing parents and minors at all stages of juvenile dependency proceedings, including trial. Prior to working in the legal field, Keren enjoyed a career in public relations.
In her free time, Keren has a passion for helping underserved communities, such as the demographic served by Dream You. She has served, and continues to serve, on numerous non-profit committees helping individuals struggling with drug and alcohol addiction.
Clover Jacobs, BSW
Board Member
Development Therapist
As a Cognitive Function Development Therapist, Clover works one-on-one with clients to help them rewire their brains through the process of neuroplastic remodeling which is effective in helping individuals impacted by trauma and/or experiencing other mental health issues.
Before this, Clover was an Adoption Specialist for the state of Arizona, she worked in a program providing support and rehabilitation services for at-risk children and families, and she taught independent living classes for foster youth that were close to aging out of the system.
In her free time, Clover loves gardening, raising backyard chickens, hiking, photography, and traveling. However, her deepest love is her faith in God, as well as her husband and 3 young sons who always keep life full of creativity, fun, and adventure.
